The sea route between Shinas and Khasab was launched on 9^th MAY 2012 linking the governorates of North Al Batinah and Musandam. The launching ceremony was held in the wilayat of Shinas under the patronisation of Dr.Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi Minister of Transport and Communications. Several sheikhs dignitaries and citizens were present on the occasion.

The National Ferries Company won the prestigious Middle East’s Responsible Tourism Award, which is awarded to the best airlines, cruise ships, hotels, tourism and international brands in the hospitality and tourism industry.  the company was honored by the World Travel Awards ceremony held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in the 30th of April 2012. Mr. Ghazi Al Zadjali, Head of Marketing and Communications received the award on behalf of the company.

National Ferry Company (S.A.O.C) is pleased to announce its new route of ferry services between Port of Shinas and Khasab. The inauguration ceremony will be held on 9th May 2012 at 11 AM at Shinas Port under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Futaisi, Minister of transport and communication.
